QUICK TIPS: Email Unsub
I wanted to share quick tips with you. Secrets that aren’t secrets. For my first one, I want to share is unsubscribing from emails.
It is so easy to subscribe to unwanted emails. Which makes it so easy to become overwhelmed with the sh*t crowding your inbox. If you’re anything like me, you might even miss an email or two that you were actually interested in because the anxiety that floods over your body is too insane to open the app again. Ok, maybe I’m being a tad dramatic.
Anyway, I like to unsubscribe from emails AT LEAST once a month. If I’m really feeling productive, I will do it anytime I am waiting for an appointment, getting my hair done, or in the car. It’s a part of my wellness routine to be honest. It keeps things pristine. .
I like to think unsubscribing from emails is wellness & it has turned into a routine for me. I’m not saying sales aren’t fun to know about but, when you can Google a promo code easier than searching through your inbox for an email you got last week, it’s hard to deny that I’d rather go the simple route. If you are really dying to know when the best sales are, download the stores app & turn on notifications. Chances are, they will pop up on your screen with “20% OFF EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW” at one time or another.
Let’s talk the process. Gmail App is a personal favorite. I start with the “promotions” tab at the tip top, open the email, scroll down, & boom, hit the “unsubscribe” button. After successfully unsubscribing to the email, I delete ALL the emails that come from that address. That part is definitely optional & easier when I’m caught up. That’s the whole deal. Just rinse & repeat.
